ZTE To Launch Their Own App Store

ZTE have announced and launched a large number of smartphones in the last couple of months and it looks like they plan to be around for the long haul !

At the Mobile World Congress, which took place last week, ZTE confirmed they are working on an "App Store" which will come pre-loaded on their mobiles. Weirdly, they didn't unveil which operating system it will be for but we'd expect it to be Android !

We presume ZTE will have some editors choice applications and perhaps some exclusive special offers for owners of their smartphones.

The App Store is expected to launch at the end of this year or at the start of 2013 at the very latest.

ZTE must have big plans in the smartphone market and are hoping to grow exponentially over the next 12 months.  They've been unveiling more premium smartphones in recent times including the PF112HD , which you can read more about here.

We at 3G don't see any reason why ZTE mobiles shouldn't go on to prove hugely popular.
