Rumours about a Google Tablet have been circulating online for some time with a number of different devices making an appearance.
The Google Nexus Tablet is one such device , as well as a Motorola -produced tablet which is rumoured to be the first product of Google's takeover of the manufacturer. Now we've heard fresh rumours about another Google Tablet.
Google are reportedly going to join forces with Asus to produce an affordable Google Tablet to rival the Amazon Kindle Fire. Apparently, Google saw Asus's Memo 370T tablet at this years Mobile World Congress and were so impressed they inquired about Asus making a tablet for them.
Google are keen to price the 7 inch Google Tablet the same as the Amazon Kindle Fire, so we're looking at $199. The Asus Memo 370T is going to be priced at $249, but maybe with the right production volume that can be brought down to Google's requirements.
Very little information about the tablets specification is available , but its expected to have a Tegra 3 processor and will run on Android Ice Cream Sandwich, which sounds great for under $200.
At this stage all this is pure speculation, but as soon as 3G hear anything more related to the matter we'll let you know.
