Winamp has now come out of beta for Android with the full 1.0 version now available to download from the Android Market.
One major new feature is the ability to download free-music through a shortcut on the home-screen. A huge number of tracks are available thanks to the music-site Spinner.com.
Another neat feature of the Android version of Winamp is the ability to wirelessly sync your music over Wi-Fi including the ability to import your iTunes library.
The user-interface has been improved with changes made to the home-screen, now playing screen and the lock-screen. You can also use Android Voice to listen to artists and songs in Winamp.
Users with Android 2.2 and higher can also listen to SHOUTcast radio, which means a huge number of radio stations are available on your Android mobile.
