Tesco Blocking iPhone WiFi Hotspot !
![]() |
Tesco have disabled the ability to use your iPhone 4 to create personal WiFi hotspots on their network.
Techradar reported that the feature has been disabled by Tesco Mobile because their network isn't ready for the feature. The ability to create WiFi networks was activated in the iOS 4.3 update, which is now available for the iPhone 4.
Tesco are planning to enable the ability shortly, but whether it will involve an additional charge remains to be seen.
With the growing coverage and speed of 3G networks the ability to use your mobile to share internet with other devices is becoming increasingly important and is something that Tesco will be keen to resolve.
