Samsung has announced the Corby II , which is the successor to the original Corby which came in vibrant colours. The newest version follows in the footsteps and comes in a selection of eye catching coloured backs including yellow, pink and white.
The Corby II has a 3.14 inch touch-screen and an improved UI for more intuitive and easier touch experience. It features Samsung's TouchWiz interface for easy and smooth menus and also supports T9 Quicktype which makes typing three times faster than standard.
A 2 mega-pixel camera is also feature which doubles to record video. Additional supported features include Bluetooth, WiFi and USB 2.0.
The Corby II runs on Android 2.2 meaning it supports full Adobe Flash and can be used to create a personal WiFi network.
The mobile supports social networking including instant messaging, Facebook, Twitter and also has a social hub where all your contacts can be combined into one manageable list. In terms of memory 26MB of onboard memory is built-in and can be expanded with microSD cards up to 16GB.
The Samsung Corby II will be launching in March in Germany with the rest of Europe to follow shortly after.
