Apple Claims Browser Tests Were Flawed
![]() |
Late last week we brought you news of a study that showed that browsing was much faster on the Android operating system than Apple's iOS.
However, Apple have now responded by saying the study was flawed because Apple hadn't applied its new performance upgrades to its web apps browser , which loads pages inside web-apps, although the Safari browser was optimised.
We're not sure whether this information is entirely relevant to the study, but we'll have to trust Apple on this one. Blaze who ran the study also stated they will re-run the tests when Apple have resolved the issue.
The study showed that on average Android's Chrome browser was 54 per cent faster than Apple's Safari browser. Click here to read more about the study.
