Android Store Catching Apple Store App Numbers

We all know the mobile phone world has gone app crazy and no more so than iOS and Android users.
A new piece of research from Business Insider shown in their chart above shows that the Apple Store now has 350,000 apps and the Android Market now has 250,000 apps.
The above chart via Business Insider shows a gap between the two of 100K apps but is this enough to keep Apple in front. Only time will tell but looking at Android's pace of growth we fear not.
Microsoft recently boasted it had 10K Windows Phone apps on its store and at last count BlackBerry had over 20K apps.
