We brought you news of the latest Palm OS update at the start of the month with webOS 1.4 now available for the Palm Pre.

The main advantages it brought with it were video capture capability, which includes simple edit capability and the ability to upload videos to friends or social networks,  Adobe Flash 10.1 Beta support and general performance and battery life improvements.

With webOS 1.4 you can also take advantage of free game downloads from the app store with Need for Speed Underground, The Sims 3 and Monopoly all available free.

Since the time of the launch other improvements concerning the email have been spotted which include the ability to sort message lists on a number of different fields including sender, date and subject.

webOS 1.4 also enables you to easily add addresses and numbers that were sent to you in a message into your contact list by tapping and holding on the number or email required.

Additionally, webOS 1.4 enables you to edit content of an email before forwarding it to your friends and it finally allows you to open attachments that come with emails.
