The BBC has released a new version of its iPlayer which has been custom made for BlackBerry mobiles.

 

The iPlayer software enables you to catch up on your favourite BBC shows on your Blackberry smartphone. However, at this time the application on works through Wi-Fi which means you can’t use the 3G network provided by your operator.

 

The application is not yet available in the Blackberry App World but can be downloaded directly from the BBC by clicking here.

 

It’s compatible with almost all recent Blackberry mobiles and will no doubt prove a popular application, especially if they add 3G support.
