Disney has announced a partnership with the On Demand Group that will provide subscribers with on-demand access to esisodes of its shows.

The subscriptions will be available to all mobiles on the 3 UK network and will mean users can watch popular shows such as “Lost”, “Desperate Housewives” and “Grey’s Anatomy”.

Apparently it will be available on any handset and tariff on 3 and will cost £5 for a monthly subscription or £1.49 for a day.

The service is being labelled as subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) and is the first of its type to launch.

The playback is said to be of high quality and enables you to pause and resume playback at anytime, which means you could come back 1 hr later and finish watching what you started.
