The multiplayer FPS is rapidly becoming the Holy Grail of iPhone gaming, and Gameloft’s latest entry appears to be about as close as any has come so far. N.O.V.A. is pretty much Halo for the iPhone, and that’s got to be a huge selling point to a lot of hardcore players.

It also throws in some amazing attributes from other big console titles, like the zero gravity levels from Dead Space. The multiplayer aspects are basic, but what’s there works well, and the invigorating single player mode more than makes up the difference.
