HTC have announced that they will be releasing the HTC Smart on O2 in the UK.

The HTC Smart is a compact smart-phone that aims to offer an intuitive and easy interface for users and comes in at a lower price-point than other smartphones. The version being offered by O2 will feature HTC Sense, which is a custom user-interface made by HTC to enable using its phones even easier.

HTC Sense enables you to bring all your “communications” with a contact together in one place, so you can view SMS history, social network and calls with a contact in one place.

The HTC Smart has a 2.8 inch touch-screen, 3 mega-pixel camera, 3.5 mm headphone socket and 256MB internal memory. It’s powered by a 300 MHz processor, which for a smart phone isn’t that powerful but compared to another mobile its fine.
