Blackberry smartphone business users can now benefit from a neat piece of mobile software ( from Zenprise ) that acts as a remote control. The Remote Control Application could be used by IT staff or the owner to connect to any Blackberry smartphone via the internet. Once connected it then becomes possible to see the Blackberry’s screen and control its operation.
This technique has long been used with PCs where a user in a large company needs help to understand or needs fault finding help to resolve an issue. This greatly reduces support time and now it’s available to any company and its Blackberry smartphone users. Some companies that Zenprise support has over 8000 Blackberry smartphones with many different OS versions. The use of the Remote Control application in this instance is a no-brainer.
Zenrpise offer the Remote Control application (monitoring, management, and expense management ) for 35 US dollars and the Remote Control add-on is an extra $25 per user per 1,000 devices.
Watch out for Zenrise offering the Remote Control application across a wider range of smartphones in the future.
