US : JAJAH has been named the winner of the Graham Bell Award for Best Communication Solution by The Service Provider Forum of the Telecom Council of Silicon Valley at their first annual SPIFFY Awards. Alexander Graham Bell is widely recognized as the inventor of the telephone and was awarded the first U.S. patent in 1876. More than 100 years later, JAJAH is changing the way consumers and businesses communicate through its global calling solutions for telecommunications carriers.

In the first of its kind, members of the Service Provider Forum, including AT&T, British Telecom, NTT DoCoMo, France Telecom, Swisscom, Vodafone and many other fixed and wireless carriers from around the world vote among hundreds of young companies to choose their favorite in each award category. On February 28, 2008 the Telecom Council held their first annual SPIFFY Awards honoring those telecommunications companies selected for their innovation, execution, management and technologies.

For its convenient and innovative global calling solutions for consumers and service providers, The Service Provider Forum members honored JAJAH with The Graham Bell Award for Best Communication Solution.

"It is the Council's intent to highlight companies that have tremendous potential and an approach that appeals to communication service providers from around the world," said Liz Kerton, President, The Telecom Council of Silicon Valley. "JAJAH stands out in the crowd with its innovative voice solutions for consumers and a proven network that leading tech companies and telco partners are leveraging for their own business advantage. We are proud to name JAJAH Best Communication Solution."

"It is a pleasure to be validated by its millions of users who use JAJAH daily, but it is truly an honor to be acknowledged by our own industry leaders and aligned with the inventor of the telephone, Alexander Graham Bell," said JAJAH CEO, Trevor Healy. "As we look to the future, we will continue to reinvent how consumers use their phone and bring those managed services for emerging voice technologies to the world's most progressive carriers."
