ASIA : 3 Hong Kong announced the signing of an agreement with UEFA for the rights in Hong Kong to transmit highlights of all UEFA Champions League matches onto the video mobile phones of its customers. Under this agreement, valid for the 2003-06 seasons, 3 Hong Kong customers will be able to view all highlights and goals of UEFA Champions League matches via video streaming and/or downloading on their mobile phones. Mrs Agnes Nardi, Managing Director of 3 Hong Kong said, “All UEFA Champions League matches are played in the middle of the night Hong Kong time. 3 Hong Kong customers will be the first in the morning to know the results and view the match highlights and all the goals on their 3 video mobile anytime anywhere. And with the DailyExpress service, users can even have the results and highlight videos automatically delivered to their mobiles for ready access and enjoyment.” In addition to video highlights, users can also keep track of news on their favourite teams, fixtures of up-coming games, previous round results and other UEFA Champions League information in the ”Football” section under 3Grid on their mobile phones. |
