Three demonstrates how it’s making it right in a trio of new adverts

Three’s #makeitright campaign launched with a bang, introducing the nation to the network’s memorable new mascot Jackson who’s on a mission to make things right in the mobile world.

We first saw him down on his luck on a rainy night, before deciding to make things right with the world, or at least the mobile world.

It’s a goal which was further explained in a subsequent advert showing him giving a press conference in which he speaks out against the mobile industry, which he says “sucks” and has been neglecting its customers, but which he intends to make right.

It’s a campaign which fits Three’s general ethos as the network has already strived to right a number of wrongs and it’s highlighted a few of them in three new adverts.

The first shows a man taking selfies on a beach only for Jackson to pop out of his cool box and explain through the medium of song that most networks charge a fortune to use data abroad, but if he joins Three he’ll be able to tweet his duck-face pictures for free from America, Spain or Italy (or any of fifteen other destinations covered by Feel At Home).

Next up we see a woman trying to stream “her favourite trashy show” in a restaurant, but struggling with slow internet. To which Jackson (who this time is under the table) suggests joining Three of course, for fast 4G at no extra cost.

The last advert acknowledges Three’s reputation for having rubbish signal. It’s a reputation which was somewhat justified in the early days of the network but no longer, because as Jackson points out Three is now rated the best UK network for reliability in a recent YouGov survey.

These are just a few of the ways in which Three is already making things right. It also offers unlimited data tariffs, an inTouch app to keep you in contact with people when there’s no signal and more.

But we’d be very surprised if this is the last we’ve seen of Jackson, after all the network is so invested in the character and campaign that it even released a making of video for his debut advert, so there’s every chance these things will be highlighted in the next wave of adverts.

With any luck we’ll even see Three make more things right soon too
