Windows Phone still lags a little behind iOS and Android when it comes to app selection, but noknok.tv reports that it recently got access to Sky Sports, giving users sports information on the move and it’s just in time for summer and the World Cup.
The app brings you up to date news as it happens, along with scores, fixtures, results, tables and more. It also delivers exclusive video content including interviews and reactions to major sporting events and it includes streaming access to Sky Sports News Radio, which offers constant rolling sports coverage.
The app covers football, cricket, Rugby Union, Rugby League, golf, tennis, Formula One and boxing and each sport has its own section so you can filter content based on what you’re interested in.
If on the other hand you want it all then you can stick to the main page, which covers the biggest new stories across all those sports. It’s a slick, attractive app which is easy to navigate and is visually rich thanks to a colourful design and pictures to accompany articles.
It’s also made all the better with a 4G connection as you can enjoy audio and video content on the move with no waiting.
It’s light on resources too, as the app will run on phones with as little as 512MB of RAM, so popular handsets like the Nokia Lumia 520 are good to go. Best of all it’s free and available now from the Windows Phone store for handsets running Windows Phone 8.1, Windows Phone 8 or Windows Phone 7.5.< Back
