Acer have the launched Liquid E700 which is a new smartphone aimed at globe trotting travellers.
The Acer Liquid E700 comes with support for 3 separate SIM cards meaning that users will be able to pop-in their personal, business and roaming SIMs at the same time. Best of all it's a quad-band mobile ensuring it works in all of the regions of the world.
Charging your smartphone while abroad can often by a challenge, but fear not because the Liquid E700's 3500mAH battery delivers up to 60 days standby, 12 hours of video playback, 100 hours of music playback or 24 hours of talktime from a single charge.
The rest of the Acer Liquid E700 adopts a more familiar approach with a 5-inch 720p IPS display, a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard memory. It also comes with an 8MP rear-facing camera and a front-facing 2MP with both having LED flashes, along with support for DTS Studio Sound technology.
The smartphone comes pre-loaded with Android KitKat (4.4.2) and weighs just 155g with a thickness of just 9.9mm. It's set to cost just £179 and will be available to buy from the 3rd quarter of 2014.< Back
