Intel-Powered Orange San Diego Now Available From Orange

The Orange San Diego was unveiled at the end of May when it came to light that it would be the first smartphone to launch in the UK with an Intel chipset.

The San Diego is now available to buy from the Orange store where it's available free on contracts starting at just £20.50 a month , which gets you 100 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of mobile data. Alternatively, you can pickup the smartphone on Pay As You Go for just £199.99.

The Orange San Diego comes with a beastly 1.6 Ghz Intel Atom Processor which gives it more than enough power for amazing multi-tasking, stunning game performance and smooth HD video playback.

The 4.03 inch touch-screen is also rather splendid and runs a a resolution of 1024*600 pixels which will provide great clarity when web-browsing or social networking. Other features of the Orange San Diego include an 8 mega-pixel rear-facing camera, front-facing 1.3 mega-pixel camera and 16GB of on-board memory.

One of the only downsides of the Orange San Diego is that it runs on Android Gingerbread, but for under £200 we still think it offers amazing value. 3G hopes to review the Orange San Diego very soon so keep posted !
