Take Panoramic Photos On Your Sony Ericsson X10
![]() |
Sony Ericsson have released a new application for the Xperia X10 that enables users to take panoramic photos.
The application is called Panorama Beta and enables you to take amazing wide-view photos on your X10 smartphone. In order to take a panoramic photo you merely choose a direction and press the capture button and then pan your smartphone.
The Panorama beta application also enables you to browse through your photos and features an auto scrolling feature which works in a smooth manner. In order to download the application you need an Xperia X10 running on Android 2.1 or later.
Click here to download Panorama Beta from the Android Market.
As the name implies the application is currently in Beta so it's very much a work in progress. However, initial reviews seem positive although some have said the quality sometimes doesn't match up to the 8 mega-pixel standard the camera is capable of.
It's slightly strange that Sony Ericsson have chosen to debut Panorama Beta on the Xperia X10, which is quite an old mobile now. However, we assume if successful the application will be rolled out across Sony Ericsson's range of mobiles.
