Vodafone have added the new version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 to its Coming Soon page. The new version is thinner than the original and is thought to be a response to the iPad 2, which is significantly thinner than the original Tab. 

Originally it was reported that Vodafone would continue to sell the original version of the tablet in the UK, but has since decided to stock the newer thinner version. Infact, Vodafone will be the exclusive retailer of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.

Apart from the reduction in thickness the new Galaxy Tab 10.1 also has an 8 mega-pixel camera which is a vast improvement over the 3 mega-pixel offering featured on the original. This again is probably a response to the improved camera on the Apple iPad 2.
