The HTC Wildfire S builds on the original Wildfire which proved a hugely successful affordable smartphone. The Wildfire S is one of the smallest ever HTC smartphones which is just 10.13 cm long and 5.94 cm wide.

The specification includes a 3.2 inch touch-screen  which runs at a higher resolution (320*480) than the original. It's powered by a 600MHz processor, comes with a 2GB microSD card and has social networking features pre-loaded. The HTC Wildfire S runs on Android 2.4.
