iPhone 4 Coming To Virgin Media ?

The latest rumours circulating the internet suggest that Virgin Media are looking to stock the iPhone 4.
Apparently, the mobile operator is in talks with Apple to stock the latest version of the iPhone. Virgin Media run its network using T-Mobiles infrastructure so if it were to stock the iPhone 4 it will offer a cheaper alternative to T-Mobile whilst losing none of the benefits it network offers.
If this latest rumour proves true it would bring the total number of operators carrying the iPhone 4 up to 6 with O2, Orange, Vodafone, T-Mobile and Three already confirmed as stockists.
This strategy is almost the exact opposite of the one initially adopted by Apple with the orginal iPhone launch. They offered exclusivity to operators in each country for a significant period, but this time it seems they want to offer the device on as many operators as possible.
We can only see this as a great thing for customers with price wars seemingly the only viable outcome.
