BBC iPlayer Now Available On Android 2.2

The BBC iPlayer is now available on Android 2.2, which is the only version that will be supported.
Android 2.2 brings Flash 10.1 support and that's why this version is capable of supporting the BBC iPlayer.
The website has been optimised to run on Android mobiles and a stream running at 400kpbs will provide high quality pictures to your Android mobile. Officially, the service is only supported through Wi-Fi but users have stated that you can get it work using 3G connections.
The service will enable you to catch-up with all your favourite shows and recent evens on your mobile.
The only real hurdle for users is that only the Google Nexus One has received the Android 2.2 update, but more mobiles will be upgraded over the next couple of months.
