Three Reduce Roaming Costs in South Africa
![]() |
Three have announced they are reducing their roaming and data charges for football fans that are in South Africa for the World Cup.
They have introduced a 50 per cent cut for it’s customers throughout June and July, so that you won’t be charged a fortune for laptop and phone usage at the World Cup.
The new prices offered by Three are 50 per cent cheaper than all other networks standard rates, which make them the most affordable way to stay in touch while out in South Africa.
Other companies offer special rates like this new Three deal, but some charge for the service or make you use a certain amount of credit to receive the low rates. However, on Three there is no charge or minimum requirement.
The new deals mean the price per MB of roaming is just £1.25 per megabyte, with competitors charging up to £8.
Calls are now just £1.40 a min to make and 99p to receive with messages costing 25p.
