Sony Ericsson has announced two new mobiles.
The first of the two mobiles is the Sony Ericsson Cedar (pictured above), which is in the Greenheart range. It aims to provide all the functionality a user would expect from a modern phone at minimal cost to both your wallet and the environment.
The Sony Ericsson Cedar features Widget Manager 2.0 which enables users to access social networks on the stand-by screen.
It supports 3G which can be used for checking your email and browsing the web. A 2 mega-pixel camera is also featured, as well as a 3.5mm headphone socket.
The Cedar also has recycled plastics, low power consumption charger, e-manual and environmentally friendly paint and packaging.
The Sony Ericsson Cedar will be available in the third quarter of 2010 and will come in a choice of Black/Silver or Black/Red.
The second new mobile is the Sony Ericsson Yendo (pictured above), which is a touch-screen Walkman mobile that also integrations social networks and communication in one-mobile.
The Yendo features the four touch-corner UI that also featured on the Xperia X10 Mini which allows single handed navigation. The touch-screen is a 2.6 inch display and the Yendo also features a 2 mega-pixel camera which has a 4* digital zoom.
The Walkman features that are supported include Touch TrackID for finding the names of tracks you hear, PlayNow to find all your favourite songs and MediaGo for easily transferring music from your PC to your mobile. A 3.5 mm headphone socket is also present for plugging in your favourite headphones.
The Sony Ericsson Yendo also has built-in applications for major social networks including Facebook. You can also browse the web and check your emails easily.
The Sony Ericsson Yendo will launch in the 3rd Quarter of 2010 and will be available in a choice of Black, Blue, Green, Orange, Pink, Purple, Red, Silver, White and Yellow.
