![]() |
Samsung has announced two new Bada mobiles at CommunicAsia , which is taking place in Singapore.
The two mobiles are the Samsung Wave 2 (Pictured Below) (S5250) and the Samsung Wave 2 Pro (S5330) (Pictured Above). Samsung Bada is an open-source operating system developed by Samsung that also feature on the original Samsung Wave.
Both mobiles share a similar specification and both have a 3.2 inch touch-screen and a 3 mega-pixel camera. They both support WiFi, but it seems they are lacking 3G support which is a bit surprising. Bluetooth 2.1 support is also present, as well as a microSD support and a 3.5 mm headphone socket.
The Samsung Wave 2 Pro also features a sliding QWERTY keyboard, which is the only difference between the two mobiles.
Both mobiles also come pre-loaded with Facebook and Twitter, Google Latitude and support Java.
The Samsung Wave 2 and Wave 2 Pro will launch in Russia and Asia in August and are available in a choice of Black, White and Pink. Once we get news of a wider European launch we’ll be sure to let you know.
