Nokia N900 Arrives at Tesco Mobile

The Nokia N900 can now be bought from Tesco stores which have an in-house Phone Shop. 3G checked out the Tesco Mobile website and there was no sign of it there. Recently, 3G.co.uk posted an article saying that Nokia had sold only 100K of the Nokia N900.
At first sight you may think why are Tesco stocking the Nokia N900 in a few in-house and High Street phone shops. However, in May, Tesco Mobile confirmed it would open 500 new phone shops. It has over 100 phone shops currently open and plan to have 500 open by the end of 2013.
Tesco will sell the Nokia N900 on Vodafone for £30 a month. This is on Vodafone Your Plan 300 giving 300 minutes with unlimited internet and texts. The Nokia N900 comes with a 5 megapixal camera, 3.4 inch touchscreen, QWERTY keyboard and is powered by the Maemo operating system.
The Nokia N900 recently received a firmware update – to find out more about this check out our article here : Nokia N900 Firmware Updated.
‘This is further proof of the wide appeal of this much-praised device and this deal will bring this great computing experience into the hands of many more people.’ Said Mark Loughran, managing director, Nokia UK.
