Groundbreaking Video Service with Mobile Solution |

ASIA : Nextreaming Corporation, a leader in mobile multimedia solutions for mobile operators, handset manufacturers, and content providers, today announced that LG Telecom (LGT), one of the biggest mobile operators in Korea, has selected and successfully launched its video services utilizing Nextreaming’s advanced server and encoder products. LGT based its solution on Nextreaming because of its advanced functionalities and quality. The service has achieved substantial commercial success since launching in April. “Working with Nextreaming has permitted LGT to efficiently deploy world class video services to our customers in a minimized timeframe,” said Mr. Sang Min Lee, General Manager of New Service Development Division at LGT. “Nextreaming’s solutions enabled us to provide our customers with highly optimized quality streaming and download services even over cdma2000® 1x network, which is comparable to what other EV-DO operators provide. We found Nextreaming’s carrier grade solutions provide us the quality, reliability, and compatibility to exceed our users’ expectations and increase subscriber revenue.” LGT was enabled using Nexencoder™ and Nextreamer™ to create its advanced streaming services. Nexencoder™ is recognized as providing the highest quality mobile video encoding technology. Nextreamer™ provides carrier grade streaming and management capabilities to mobile operators. ”We are excited to commercially launch with LGT our video streaming solutions for mobile operators,” said Dr. IL-TAEK LIM, President and CEO of Nextreaming, “We have deployed video services for Vodafone, Hutchison 3, and other major carriers worldwide.
