The Samsung Galaxy S2 was updated to Android Ice Cream Sandwich in April and things just got even better for owners of Samsung's best-selling smartphone.
Owners of the Samsung Galaxy S2 will be pleased to hear that the Korean company have begun rolling out Android 4.0.4 to their smartphone. This is the latest version of Ice Cream Sandwich and is the same version featured on the Samsung Galaxy S3.
The update brings a number of new improvements to the Galaxy SII, but as you'd expect its nowhere near as radical as the original update to Android Ice Cream Sandwich. However, users will benefit from an overall improvement in stability and improvements to the user-interface.
Samsung Galaxy SII owners can check if the update is available by connecting their smartphone to Samsung Kies on their PC, or checking for an over-the-air update. As always 3G recommends you back up your data before updating and to download the update over WiFi.
The Samsung Galaxy S2 is still available to buy in the UK and is now available on some amazing deals from Three. You check out all of Three's Samsung Galaxy SII deals by clicking here.
