Google Nexus 7 Now Shipping To Customers !

Google Nexus 7

The Google Nexus 7 has now begun shipping to people who pre-ordered the tablet !

Both Curries and PCWorld have begun shipping the 16GB version of Google's tablet, while Google have already put the 8GB model in the post for those who pre-ordered. The bad news for those who havn't pre-ordered is that Google is now listing a 1-2 week wait for more stock to arrive.

Earlier in the week we reported that Google is suffering from stock shortages in the US due to higher than anticipated sales. Now it looks like the UK is set to suffer from a similar fate. The folks at 3G are waiting for the delivery man to knock at any moment with our Nexus 7 tablet and we'll be bringing you a review of the device very soon !

We do have to mention that Google has messed up some of the deliveries in the UK by not sharing the full addresses with the courier TNT. For example, our Google Nexus 7 left our local depot yesterday but never got delivered and on calling TNT they said Google havn't given them the full addresses.

Google's tablet has changed the tablet market immeasurably already with "Chinese" tablet manufacturers forced to instantly slash their prices. Apple are also thought to be working on an iPad Mini to challenge Google's affordable Nexus 7 tablet.

In the UK the Nexus 7 8GB is available direct from Google Play for £159 or you can pickup a 16GB model from Curries or PCWorld for £199. Considering it has a quad-core processor and runs on Android Jelly Bean this is a great deal !
