A new leak has given information about a new HTC smartphone, the HTC Vigor. The information comes thanks to a benchmark posted at Nenamark by an anonymous source.

The information that came with the benchmark shows the HTC Vigor has a 1.5 GHz processor which is likely to be dual-core, but we can't be sure from the information provided. Accompanying this power-house processor is an Adreno 220 GPU, which would make it a real beast.

The mobile was running on Android 2.3.4 and the screen was operating at a resolution of 1280*720 pixels. Little else is known about the smartphone other than it was running on Verizon.

HTC have been rumoured to be launching 1.5GHz smartphones shortly, but this is the first information we've seen suggesting the rumours could be true. We'll have to wait and see whether the information gets verified and whether the HTC Vigor launches in the UK.
