Google Android 3.2 Update for Tablets has been announced and will be making its way to Android laptops sometime in the future.

The update is aimed at both developers and and tablet users as outlined on Google's developer blog. Google say the Android 3.2 update includes :

- A number of refinements within Android 3.2 which make for a far wider optimized user experience across the total tablet range.

- An improved compatibility zoom mode which offers an alternative to the current way of displaying apps on larger tablet screens. The current method is by basic UI stretching whereas the new method will be pixel-scaling.

- Tablets which have a removable SD card can now benefit from media syncing and download their photos and videos from the SD card to apps that use them.

- Extended screen support API. For developers who want more precise control over their UI across the range of Android-powered devices, the platform's screen support API is extended with new resource qualifiers and manifest attributes, to also allow targeting screens by their dimensions.

The Google Android 3.2 Update for Tablets will be arriving in the near future but when exactly we are not so sure. As soon as we find out we will post here on 3G.co.uk.
