Where is the HTC Hero 2.1 Update Orange ?
![]() |
HTC finally made Android 2.1 available for the Hero at the start of this month, which was long overdue. HTC owners had been promised the update when Android Froyo was originally announced and its took all that time for them to finally get their hands on the now "old" version of Android.
However, its up to operators to roll out the update to its customers and Orange still haven't to release Android 2.1 to its users.
In response to this situation HTC Hero owners have setup a "protest" group on Facebook, which they hope will force Orange to explain the situation and more importantly to rectify the issue.
The group has over 500 members at the moment and we're sure it won't be long before it's getting the press it deserves.
We'll keep you updated on developments when we hear them !
