Skype Multitasking for iPhone IOS 4
![]() |
If you have an iPhone 4 , iPhone 3GS, or a third-generation iPod touch you will be pleased to hear that Skype has been updated with a new version 2.0.1. Back in May, Skype updated the iPhone App so that users could make calls via 3G but could not multitask.
The latest version ( 2.0.1. ) of Skype for the iPhone lets you run Skype in the background whilst you carry out other tasks ie multitask. You can now receive IMS and make calls while other Apps are running or even when your iPhone is locked. You can even hold a conversation while switching to another task.
The Skype for the iPhone App also includes improved graphics to support iPhone 4 's Retina Display and also has improved sound quality built into the new App.
