Back in June we confirmed that the Apple iPad had sold over 3 million units and that figure will have been boosted since then. There will be a lot of users looking to update their software and to see what it covers.

Basically, the new software version iOS 3.2.1 for the iPad addresses known bugs and some improvements. The update applies to the iPad ( Wi-Fi ) version and the iPad ( Wi-Fi + 3G ) version.

The update offers :

- better -Fi connectivity

- solves an issue that caused video playback to freeze

- added Bing as an option for Safari's search field

- improved reliability of video-out when using iPad Dock Connector to VGA Adapter

- fixed an issue that could prevent copy and paste of single-page PDF attachments in Mail

The new software version iOS 3.2.1 for the iPad is available via iTunes.
