Google Android Versus iPhone 4 - JavaScript Execution Tests

Tests have been conducted on a Google Nexus One with Android 2.2 and compared to the same tests on an iPhone 4 . The tests were undertaken by ars technical – well respected review website – with regard to Javascript execution.
Javasript execution in Android 2.2 is three times faster than Android 2.1. when looking at SunSpider and V8 benchmarks.
In addition, this performance was put head to head against the Apple iPhone 4 using Apple’s Safari browser and the results showed that the Android device delivers significantly faster JavaScript execution than the iPhone, scoring over three times better on V8 and almost twice as fast on SunSpider.
