Check In With Your iPhone On British Airways
![]() |
British Airways have updated their iPhone application and it now enables you to check-in using your mobile.
The application used to be limited to checking flight-times and delays but the new check-in addition makes it much more valuable to users.
Users can now download boarding passes to their iPhone which generates a barcode that can be scanned from their iPhone screen at the airport check-in. Currently the service is limited to "Executive Club" members and is only supported on flights from Edinburgh to Heathrow.
However, BA has stated that this is just a trial period and if successful it will roll out on many more flights and will no doubt be available to all flyer's eventually. They have also stated they aim to roll out the application on Android and Blackberry mobiles in the near future.
You can download the BA iPhone App from the App store later today.
