Android Sky+ App Launched
![]() |
Android smartphone users can now download the Sky+ App from the iTunes store. This comes a short time after the Sky+ App was made available to iPhone users who subsequently made over a million downloads.
The Sky+ App in conjunction with a Sky+ or Sky+ HD box offers the opportunity to preset recordings to record your TV favourite programmes from anywhere in the UK. The Sky+ App offers the chance to check Sky TV listings and record single episodes or even a whole series.
Remote recording via the iPhone has proved popular and we expect the same from Android users, maybe more so. The new Sky+ App for the iPhone and Android users can be downloaded for free but you will need to register for Remote Record to get your phone activated to be able to use the service.
