The Acer Liquid has received an update to Android 2.1, having previously ran on Android 1.6.
Android 2.1 brings with it a number of improvements with the most significant being the addition of Google Maps with Navigation, which brings free turn-by-turn voice navigation to your Acer Liquid.
Other improvements include support for up to five home-screens, live wallpapers , an improved app launcher , 3D photo gallery and new widgets.
The Acer Liquid is a great smartphone that has a 3.5 inch touch-screen, 5 mega-pixel camera and 768MHz CPU.
Our review of the Acer Liquid review concluded that " it’s still an Android phone, with all the speed and fluidity that suggests."
