Latest 3G Femtocell Device - the Femtocell 2.0

UK : A new Femtocell device has been launched by Huawei Technologies at the Femtocell World Summit in the UK, London. The new device which has been called 'Femtocell 2.0' it lets you connect to your home or office broadband DSL or cable provider and provides 3G coverage for your handsets.

The Femtocell 2.0 received two awards recently – the Red Dot Design and iF Design Awards and supports many applications such as those for streaming video, IPTV, video conferencing and 3G mobile broadband.
Mr. Jiang Wangcheng, President of UMTS, Huawei Wireless commented. 'Having a robust yet versatile Femtocell device that is able to gain wide market acceptance is a key challenge faced by all operators. Huawei' s Femtocell solution and devices are now ready to support mass market adoption,.
