3G Mobile Software Player Gets 17 MIllion US Dollar Venture Funding

China : A company which develops software for Android based 3G mobile phones and services has landed  venture funding of over 17 Million US dollars. Borgs Inc. received the funding from Norwest Venture Partners for Series B venture funding.

 

Borgs is a mobile software developer offering wireless operators a branded user interface which is available for various 3G smart phones. The company’s client side mobile software is based around Google’s Android mobile platform software.

 

Borgs mobile and IP software help OEMs and wireless operators to launch 3G Android phones or services in under 6 months – this offers large time and financial savings over other routes.
