will integrate the OSE Wireless Platform and 3G LAB's Trigenix User
Interface Engine.
The
integration provides handset manufacturers with a dynamic and reliable
software solution that will accelerate the development of customizable
mobile phones with user interfaces (UIs) that network operators can
easily update, brand and personalize over the air.
With customers such as Ericsson, Samsung and Agere, OSE Systems already addresses the total range of handsets, from mass consumer handsets to high-end smart phones. The runtime software update capabilities of the OSE Wireless Platform is a perfect match with Trigenix, 3G LAB's universal graphical user interface engine for mobile devices. The joint solution enables device manufacturers and network operators to update the functionality and brand the user interface on handsets, exploiting the color screens and increased functionality of the phones.
