Legend
recently launched a wireless application solution package named the
"Wing of Mobile" for Legend Soleil notebook computers. This
new solution package not only brings a lot of convenience and freedom
to users but also helps to stimulate the demand for notebook computer
in China.
The "Wing of Mobile" consists of two kinds of solution, namely GPRS (General Packet Radio System) application solution and wireless LAN application solution.
The GPRS application solution contains a GPRS card developed by Legend. It is the first GPRS card developed in China. Together with the service provided by China Mobile, users of Legend Soleil notebook computer equipped with this solution can access Internet wirelessly in 138 Chinese cities.
The wireless LAN application solution adopts IEEE 802.11b standard. Equipped with Intel's wireless network card, Legend Soleil notebook computer allows its users to easily connect to China Netcom's wireless roaming Internet network. Users can access the Internet wirelessly at a speed as fast as 11 Mbps in more than 30 commercial districts in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen.
