CDMA Development Group Expands Participation in Global Industry Wireless
Organizations

The CDG has been a long-standing member of Third Generation Partnership
Project 2 (3GPP2), Inter-American Telecommunication Commission (CITEL),
International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and Telecommunications Industry
Association (TIA). "The CDG's work with these organizations exemplifies our commitment to drive the evolution of wireless technologies to meet the needs of markets around the world in an emerging, information-intensive environment," said Perry LaForge, executive director of the CDG. The
collaboration between these groups and the CDG includes an exchange
of information on the implementation and deployment of the IMT-2000
family of standards, and participation in public events and educational
workshops. |
