Qualcomm has said that it will trial Binary Runtime Environment for Wireless ( BREW ) in Japan. This will be the first time BREW has been seen in Japan. Find out more about BREW here.

A trial is planned involving up to 8 content providers and will take place at Expo Comm Wirelss Japan 2002 over the next few days. BREW enabled phones will perform video streaming, multimedia messaging and 3D animation capabilities.
