Sony Xperia Tablet Z gets Jelly Beaned, Android 4.3 update now available

Sony Xperia Tablet Z

Owners of WiFi versions of Sony's Xperia Tablet Z can now download and install Android Jelly Bean (4.3).

The update is a whopper at 792MB and can only currently be downloaded from Sony's PC Companion on a desktop PC. It's already confirmed to be available in the UK, US, Australia, India, US and many other countries across the world.

Sony are yet to release the Android 4.3 update for the 'cellular' version of its waterproof tablet, but it shouldn't be too far away. When it does get released those with versions locked to a specific operator will have to wait that bit longer while their operator tests and brands the update.
