Those in the US have been pimping out the Moto X for months already.
The Motorola Moto X is mid-range smartphone that has been making quite a splash since it launched in the US late last year. And now it looks like the fully customisable mobile could be about to land in the UK.
Motorola have sent out press invites to an event in London on January 14th where they'll 'welcome a new addition to the European Motorola family of products'. We can't be totally sure what new product the Google-owned company is referring to, but the Moto X is by far and away the most likely candidate.
The main reason to be excited about the arrival of the smartphone in the UK is users can pimp out their own personalised version of the Moto X using Motorola's Moto Maker.
Users can choose the colours of the front and back cases, the side buttons and you can even add a custom signature. Our personal favourite finish is Bamboo (pictured below) which does cost a little extra ($100 more) - but boy is it worth it!
In the US you can currently pickup Motorola's 4.7 inch dual-core smartphone from $399 (around £250). The customisation options and the low-price should ensure the smartphone is a real success in the UK.
