Lenovo Unveils Its First 4G LTE Phone, the Vibe Z

Lenovo's first 4G smartphone is the Vibe Z.

Lenovo is a leading Chinese phone maker but is not too well known in the UK. The last smartphone we can recall them launching in the UK was the K900 smartphone back in Jan 2013.

The Vibe Z is an Android smartphone running on Android 4.3 JellyBean and comes with a 5.5-inch HD display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution which equates to an impressive PPI of 400.5.

The power comes from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Quad-core 2.2GHz processor which hooks up to 2GB of RAM and 16GB of on-board memory.

The main snapper is a 13 MP rear camera with a large f1.8 aperture lens to defy low light situations. Surprisingly, the front camera is 5MP and has an 84° lens for wide-angle shots.

It comes encased in a thin 7.9mm silver or titanium body weighing just 147 grams and has a SIM free price of $549 which would equate to £335.

The Vibe Z will available in a number of countries this February but has not yet been confirmed as coming to the UK. However, as Lenovo has released phones in the UK before and comes with 4G we see no reason why this should not land in the UK.

3G will see if we can find out if the Vibe Z will be coming to the UK or not.
