Vodafone Offering Nearly New Smartphones

Vodafone have announced that they are now offering "Nearly New" smartphones at a discounted rate. Essentially, the smartphones are ones that have been returned by Vodafone customers in very good condition.
Those worried about getting a broken smartphone will be pleased that the mobiles go through a series of checks before being authorised for resale. Furthermore, the mobiles come with either a 12 month warranty (Pay As You Go smartphones) or a 24 month warranty (Contract smartphones).
So the all important question is what sort of savings can you expect for buying what is essentially a pre-owned smartphone. Well, a Pay As You Go iPhone 4 (Nearly New) will set you back £250 which is a saving of just over £150 on a new model.
Contracts also benefit from discounting with the monthly fees for a Samsung Galaxy SIII, iPhone 4 and HTC One X cut from £37 a month down to £33 a month. That's a saving of £96 over the total contract length and you still get a smartphone with a 24 month warranty.
